Lend a helping Hand
Our Volunteers are our Most Important Asset
Without them our animals lives would not be as fulfilled. Every day a Pet Friends and Rescue volunteer improves the lives of the animals waiting here for their new forever home. We would love if you joined us!
What Can You Do to Help?
Kennel & Cattery Caretakers
Volunteers are needed to help care for the daily needs of the animals at Pet Friends and Rescue. Volunteers assist with feeding, cleaning, washing dishes, and socializing.
Dog Walkers Needed
All of our dogs need that special time while being walked. Our location has beautiful vistas to look at while walking down our country road.
Do you have a “good” eye? If so, we are always in need of current photographs of our adoptable Pet Friends and Rescue residents. As the saying goes, “A picture is worth a thousand words.”
Maintenance & Grounds
Pet Friends and Rescue has several acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and buildings. Plants and walkways are always in need of some attention and we appreciate the help we receive.
Who Can Volunteer?
Come one, Come all!
Youth/Students Ages 12-16
Youth ages 12 – 16, accompanied by a parent/guardian, are needed to play, socialize, and interact with the dogs and cats here at Pet Friends and Rescue. This is a wonderful way to spend family time together and it makes a difference in an animals life.
Love cats? Our cat volunteers are needed to socialize, cuddle, play, and brush our cats and kittens while they wait for their new home.
Love dogs? Our canines need volunteers that enjoy going for walks, brushing, and socializing.
We also need help feeding, cleaning and exercising the animals. There are always walkways that need sweeping, windows to be washed, and light office cleaning.
